Well, the #1 reason is because we are both huge dog lovers and are slightly obsessed with our adorable little miniature dachshund, Levi (in case you didn't notice by the picture at the top of my page ;) and our sweet, rambunctious yellow lab Daisy. The second reason is because without Levi, we may not have ended up together in the first place. And so the story goes...
Jimbo and I had been working together for a couple of months when he came to work saying that he had a dachshund puppy that needed a good home. I already had 1 little dog in a 1-bedroom apartment and had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I always wanted a dachshund and agreed to take the puppy. A few days later, I brought home Levi, who was 1.5 pounds of pure cuteness.
Long story short, we became better friends after that and slowly realized there was something more. We made things official in fall of 2012 and have been together ever since...

After we got engaged and set our wedding date for November 23, 2014, we figured out that our special day was going to be on Levi's 3rd birthday. How's that for a happy ending?!
